And with its latest update, the Realme Buds Air Pro redefines just what users can expect for less than Rs. 5,000, with practical active noise cancellation and other useful features such as low latency mode and Google Quick Pair.
However, Realme has a pair of earphones that is much more impressive on paper. Active noise cancelation, support for the LDAC Bluetooth codec. Also, a guarantee of great battery life are supported by the Realme Buds Wireless Pro, all for Rs. 3,999. In our analysis, you will find out all you need to know.
Realme Buds Wireless Pro Review: Specifications
The Realme Buds Wireless Pro Specification is one of the nicest-looking of the recent releases as far as wire-less earphones go. And the construction quality is impressive as well. With plastic chambers at the ends, the headset has a flexible neckband. For playback, volume, and to cycle through the noise cancellation and transparency modes, there are four buttons on the right. There is a USB Type-C port for charging on the bottom of the right side, covered by a flap when not in use.
It has no power button; there is a magnetic power switch on the headset. So it switches on when the earpieces are removed, and when they are snapped together, it turns off. Although this method is fast and allows for fewer keys when in storage, the headset is prone to accidentally switching on. This was often irritating, as the headset would connect to my mobile automatically, diverting audio and resulting in battery drain.
More Details
Realme Buds Wireless Pro Review is available in two colours, Disco Green and Party Yellow. The signature combination of bright yellow and black by Realme works well. For comparison, the wires, insides of the ear tips, and microphone grilles are all illuminated. A total of three pairs of silicone ear tips of varying sizes, and a short charging cable are part of the sales kit.
Where the Realme Buds Pro excels is in its specifications and functionality. Active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5, SBC, AAC, and LDAC Bluetooth codec support are available. A low latency mode of 119ms, and IPX4 water resistance are available. The earpieces each have a dynamic driver of 13.6mm.
While it claims that the battery life on the Realme Buds Pro is 22 hours. However, this is under particular conditions of use and very doubtful.
Realme Buds Wireless Pro Review: Price
Realme has far outdone any other pair of earphones it has created so far with the Buds Wireless Pro. And has completely changed the ideas of what to expect at this price. For Rs. 4,000 or less, you’re unlikely to find a better pair of wireless earphones than this.
Support for the LDAC codec means that the potential capacity of the Realme Buds Wireless Pro Price is to get more out of high-resolution audio tracks. On the earphones, especially with Tidal Masters, there are plenty of details to hear. The sound is full, spacious, and intense. And unlike what we expect from a pair of wireless earphones priced under Rs. 5,000, in large part. At the beginning of the track, the faint elements were distinct and simple, with the bass sounding close and polished.
The use of advanced codecs normally means that when listening to compressed audio tracks. There is a significant decrease in sound quality, and that is the case even with the Realme Buds Wireless Pro. While tracks on Spotify sound a little less detailed, this did not take too much away from the overall quality with a slightly narrow soundstage.
Realme Buds Wireless Pro Review: Sound
How much of a difference active noise cancellation makes to the sound is something we cannot find unusual about the Realme Buds Wireless Pro. Oddly, turning on ANC often alters the way music sounds on the earphones. Taking a bit of grunt and edge and of the sonic signature in addition to the apparent reduction in ambient noise. With ANC turned off, the earphones sound noticeably fuller. And also appears to use the feature only when genuinely needed rather than all the time.
The active noise cancellation itself is fairly priced, providing a significant noise reduction. Daily household sounds, particularly air conditioner and fan sounds were reduced by a fair amount. While urban outdoor noises also seemed to be taken out of them by the bite. It’s not a perfect performance and even with noise cancellation on. There’s still a bit of droning which can be heard.
The transparency mode is very good, offering a hear-through effect that sounds normal. The low-latency mode, which can be enabled by the companion app from Realme, disables the LDAC Bluetooth codec. This takes some of the edge out of the signal, but provides a minor latency boost.
Realme Buds Wireless Pro Review: Final Verdict
The Realme Buds Wireless Pro, both on paper and in use, is an amazing pair of wireless earphones. Also, getting most of its feature set right at a very affordable price. If you’re looking for a really good wireless sound on a budget, thanks to good tuning and LDAC Bluetooth codec support, there is not much else at this price that sounds this good. Decent active noise cancellation is a useful addition, but when in operation, it affects sound quality a little.
There’s very little to complain about with the Rs. 3,999 price of the Realme Buds Wireless Pro. This is our top recommendation among wireless earphones under Rs. 5,000, unless you want the ease of the true wireless form factor. The Realme Buds Air Pro is good for Rs. 1,000 more if you prefer the ease of use that true wireless options bring. But when it comes to sound quality, it doesn’t quite match up.
